 Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in £ sterling.  Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted.  We accept payment by credit or debit card via our secure Payment Gateway, and by bank transfer on request.

VAT

is charged at the UK rate of 20% where applicable, all prices are shown inclusive of VAT.

Delivery

We deliver within the mainland UK,  We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to deliver within 5 working days if the items purchased are in stock at the point of order.  Worldwide delivery is available and shipping prices are displayed on our carriage costs page.  These prices for for parcels of up to 2kg in weight only, we are happy to ship heavier parcels, so please contact us for a quote.

Royal Mail 2nd class signed for £5.95  

Please ask for postage costs to Ireland, Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

PLEASE NOTE. For customers who order items which require delivery outside the UK, please be aware you may be liable for customs charges,  Polished Ponies Ltd, will not be held responsible for any customs charged in any circumstances. Please see our returns policy for the return of goods from outside the UK

Purchasing

All items offered on our website are subject to availability. To purchase any of the items on our Web Site, click the "Add to Basket" button shown on each product page. When you place an order to purchase a product by clicking the button "Order Now", we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to purchase a product from us, which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've accepted your order or dispatched the product to you. The contract will be filled.

For safety reasons your order’s data are not accessible via internet. We keep these data in confidence according to our privacy policy.

Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and return them for a full refund, at your own expense, It is the responsibility of the customer to give notice of your intention to return goods,using email or telephone.  Goods must be, unsoiled, unused and in the original packaging.  No returns will be considered outside this period. 

Goods made to your own specification or custom made items (bespoke) are non-refundable unless defective. Upon receipt of the returned goods a refund will be issued.  This may take up to 10 days to process.

PLEASE NOTE: You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods. The goods must be returned in saleable condition at your expense and we would recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service.

After-Sales Service

Please notify us within 24 hrs of receipt, if goods arrive damaged or with missing items. Photographic evidence of damaged/incorrect items, including the packaging is required before a claim can be considered.  Please contact us If your ordered goods have failed to be delivered within 48 hrs of the expected delivery date. We will not be held responsible for missing parcels notified to us later than this.   Our parcels are dispatched by Royal Mail 2nd class signed for services, and will have a tracking number, if the parcel weighs over 2 kg then it will be sent via a suitable courier tracked service.  We will make every effort to locate the parcel for you.

You may return an item to us within 7 days unsoiled and unused and you will be entitled to an exchange or refund. Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of footwear and horse clothing it is regretted that we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).

Return of Goods
All goods returned must be sent via Royal Mail Signed for service or a courier, and be fully insured for the full purchase price as shown on the invoice.
